A small tub, a soggy dog, and a whole lot of suds — here’s how Rubadub in Bytchyns Tub came to be.
How It Started
It began, as these things do, with a dog named Biscuit and a bathtub entirely too small for him. Our founder spent one particularly muddy afternoon wrestling Biscuit into the family tub, and somewhere between the third escape attempt and the second bottle of shampoo, a thought landed: surely there’s a better way to do this.
What followed was a very unscientific deep-dive into gentle shampoos, no-slip mats, and towels that actually dry a dog before he shakes water across the whole bathroom. Friends started asking where to find the good stuff. Then friends-of-friends. Eventually “the good stuff” needed a shelf, and Rubadub in Bytchyns Tub was born. What started on one small shelf has since grown into a full online catalog we ship to pet parents all across the United States.
